Amcom Software Completes Fiscal Year with Record Growth
New Customers, Product Development and Acquisitions Fuel Industry-Leading Results
MINNEAPOLIS - April 15, 2008 - Amcom Software, the leader in mission-critical communications, today announced 68% annual growth in its fiscal year ended March 31, 2008, its first year of operations since being acquired by 2ndWave Software. The company's growth reinforces its leadership in the communications software market. New customer wins, product releases, and successful integration of acquired companies fueled the profitable growth and proved the company's strategies are succeeding.
"We have an incredible team of experienced pros in Minneapolis, New York and across the country," said Amcom CEO, Chris Heim. "Our customers enthusiastically tell us they appreciate the deep domain expertise our people demonstrate in addressing their needs, as much as they appreciate the functionality, efficiency and ease of use of our products." Heim further stated that Amcom's year-over-year growth was driven by close attention to customers, the successful integration of XTEND Communications and Telident E911 products, and the introductions of new, high-demand products and upgrades to existing ones.

Amcom's call center and emergency management suites are well established in the health care, higher education, large enterprise, and government and hospitality arenas. The company's customer base has grown considerably over the past year with the addition of more than 70 organizations, including Baptist Health, Christ Hospital, the Hospital Association of Rhode Island, Centegra Health System, Foxwoods Resort and Casino, CNA Insurance, Bay Area Rapid Transit, bases of the U.S. Army and Navy, as well as numerous national, state and local government entities and law enforcement agencies across the country. The company also marked more international success with an installation at one of the largest casinos in Macau, China.
